I don't know of any specific updates to the game, except to the graphics engine. The game looks a heck of a lot better than it did when I was showing it at E3 this year.

Also, I'm sorry to say, there will not be any multiplayer....

Still a really fun game though. I've already beaten it twice.

It says on Gamespot that the PC release date is 8/24/04. Is that true?

good at least we know that they tweaked up the graphics and didnt just delay the game for the money so all of the people saying that Eidos or Guerilla aint doin nothin to the game an only want the money well sorry i guess they did do something to the game...o jebus since you've played it already how many hours of gameplay would it be...and do you think Men of Valor would be a better game or Shellshock Nam'67

Hours of gameplay vaires quite a bit depending on how you play through the game. Some of the levels had our QA peeps pulling their hair out in clumps. I would take a rough guess of about 15-30 hours. Also, SSN '67 does have great replay value IMHO.

As for Men of Valor, from what I've seen it looks like a pretty sweet game, but it doesn't appear to have the gritty "feel" and atmosphere that SSN '67 has.

I dont think the delay would have helped eidos out financialy anyway.... From what i can tell people have been pumped about this game since april... (Thats when i reserved my copy at least)

and whats happening with the whole prostitution thing... what actually happens. And what about the drugs, do you just sell it or can you use them as well?

Oh yeah and JJ do you know the other weapons that say comming soon on the official website?

why the hell does europe get it before us? thats not very fair, they get it practically 2 weeks before us, plus they better not push it back again...

  17. #17
and all the makers have the game....all this waiting is making me insane!!!!! if i wait any longer, ill be waited out and like....croak or something...yeah croak.... But i wish it wouldhave come out by now, if its already done, why dont the people release it already?

  18. #18
Well, i don tthink they are being greedy, but if its done, why not just release it? i mean, whats the point in having it done, and letting it sit in warehouses to collect dust untill september??

i went to gamestop and they said it was going to be ONLINE!!!
maybe they were wrong but if they are right this game will never get old!

  22. #22
well im glad to know when it is coming out. it was supposed to be a summer game to help me survive untill gta san andreas comes out. but at least it will kill that last month off. i hope it is worth the wait.

  23. #23
Nah, its not going to be online, its going to be great even if it is offline, i could care less if it was an online game, i dont have the hook ups to get it online anyways, so its no problem for me.

Shellshock Nam '67 will not be ONLINE!!!!!!!!! Unless gamestop knows something everyone else in the world besides eidos doesn't know. IT WILL NOT BE ONLINE.
