So are they the writing the next script or is the new director doing that?

I should have said this in my first post: Farewell Amy and thanks for 5 amazing games.

Best of luck Amy, and I think you already know how grateful we are.

Good luck with all your future endeavors, Amy. I want you to know that the LOK storyline is the best I've ever played, seen or read. If I see your name tagged on any product from this day forth, you know that I'll get it.
Also know that I'm one of your biggest fans.
In the end, it is not what you've learned, but what you've taught.

Good luck in the future and all you do, may your future be a bright and happy one, and may you be eternally blessed by light, love and happiness.

Take care of yourself, and thank you for all you have done on the series as no doubt if it was not made I would not be here to day.

    With great love and respect,

Post Amy Hennig is her own Legacy !

    Hiya Peeps,

Thanks to impuritor that I have discovered that this and several other threads about Amy leaving CD is true. I dont know how this even came about. I was deffinately not prepared for this and Im incredibly shocked. But yes, 8 years us a lot of time to dedicate to one gaming series. She has offered great talent, dialogue, story telling and moving events within LoK. I still cant tell what I feel right now, but all I can say is that something feels out of place in me. Its like something has been taken away and now theres a hole. Im moved but how to explain it would be a big assignment.

Never-the-less, I love your work Amy I truely wish that you achieve what ever is in your heart. I cant thank you enough for giving us something any of the LoK fans had ever expected from a mere game. I love LoK soo much and its soo moving to know your leaving. I feel like crying and smiling at the same time but im still in a state of shock. I want to thank Amy for her farewell message and for BLinc who is the bringer of tidings however liberating or disheartening. Amy, you have inspired me to write my own story based game which has obviously been influenced by you and the rest of the CD team.

Your dialogue is soo great even though Im at the age of 22 and I still have to look through a dictionary/thesaurus to find the meanings to the true core of your statements. Its admirable that you have been in the series so far. I guess its only inevitably that you would move on and find your next venture to pour your heart and soul into. I aim to follow your journey within the industry and when I reach some kind of game programming status, I would love to not only meet you - but work along side you as well. I think for many of us, you are the biggest hero... even greater than Kain (as said by Turel) . But seriously, you are loved, missed and adored by many. I hope that you succeed in all that you do and everything you aim to achieve.

Take care Amy and I hope that one day, our destines will be much like two rivers that have met and will never be distinct again. We all love you... go knock 'em dead .

    PEACE OUT !!!

Haven't been here for a very long time. I missed this place, and now then I came - I saw such post...
I feel really bad about it because there are no better game series than LoK series. This game was, is, and will be forever great.
Amy.. I suppose that You always were the one that kept the spirit of the game alive and I believe that those hands which recieved you blessing for continuation of the series are chosen ones.
The job you've done is ENORMOUS.
    Thank You VERY MUCH.

[This is not a charade... I really appriciate it. I'm sure that even then I will die, I'll remeber this game, cuz it gave me gigantic amounts of new feelings. You know, it's same as a good book for older ppl - like Tolkien's LoTR for older guys.]

Do you not feel with all your soul how we have become like gods? And as such, are we not indivisible? As long as a single one of us stands, we are legion.~Kain

i'll miss you amy, but i understand why people do things, i just hope the new guys do a good job

Every time I finished an episode of Legacy of Kain, I always thought that the series had nowhere left to go, only for the story to expand and astound me in ways I could never have imagined. And we have your skills as a storyteller to thank for that. You and CD have done an amazing job of turning what could have been a formulaic fantasy into something really special. Good luck at Naughty Dog, you'll be missed.

  23. #48
Amy, I salute you, your expertise will be sorely missed, I have been a faithful fan to the series, I can only hope that eidos will not forsake it. It is the last series Eidos makes that I enjoy.
