Thread: Square Enix Community Day in Germany

Thumbs Up Square Enix Community Day in Germany

Last Thursday my wife and I attended the Tomb Raider Community Day in Germany. I am certain the news were the same as at the previous Community Days in France and Spain, so I won't bore you with it.

Let me just tell you that we met Meagan who is a wonderful person and as far as I am concerned the perfect person for the job of the TR community manager. Square Enix was the perfect host for an amazing day in their offices and later in some very fancy restaurant.

Gameplay was shown, we had the opportunity to play the first 10 minutes or so of the game, goodies were handed out and Square Enix Germany invited everyone to a fancy restaurant for a feast.

    Ah, and pictures were taken:

Meagan in the middle, my wife to her right and I am to her left.

    The show room:

The feast, sorry, I was busy eating and forgot to take pictures of each amazing course. Just check out the dessert plate:

For you young people, that dessert is made to look like a record player.

As for the game, I was a bit concerned when the first renders and information showed up, but playing it completely sold it for me. And I am quite certain I am not the only one who liked it.
The thing about Canadians is, they are very friendly people. But give them a hockey stick and they'll kill you.

I was there and I could not tell who was playing.

I am not sure if any of the people that attended actually come and post here.

^ That reminds me a bit of "Where's Waldo"

Anyways, nice pictures. Seems like a lot of fun!

I'm glad you enjoyed yourself and the game!

Karl told us you'll be in Russia next year. Russian community can't wait to see you.

'Where's Waldo'? Is that like an American version of 'Where's Wally'?
