NA code versus EU codes: semna30.webs.com/GR_NA_vs_EU.jpg

My Final Fantasy Xlll-2 (CE for PS3) came with a code, it was in front of the game manual beside the Game Disc.

where is it hidden? or anyone with same problem with crystal edition?

  8. #58

i registered my game i got both ff13 and ff13.2 for my ps3 but it shows up as xbox why?

  9. #59
Hey I thought 13 and 13-2 were suppose to link my items and such? am I wrong?

  10. #60

As far as I know, the only "Link" is between the save files. If it recognizes a save from FFXIII then you get a ps3 wallpaper(not sure of the 360 equivilent) and some adornments.

  11. #61

i bet i didn't do enough achievements in ffxiii to go into -2... oh well thanks for the info!

  12. #62

I believe all you need is a save file. Even if you start a new game and save at the first save point, it should carry over. That's really odd. You have to go to Serendipidy to pick them up though. Have you done that?

  13. #63

OH, Serendipidy huh. I take it that's a person in the village?

    Thanks!

Okay, so I need to get the last few Graviton Cores for Hope (100 AF in the mountains, 400 AF Oerba, and Sunleth 400 AF[?]) However, the gates are activated by using Wild Artefacts and I'm all out. I'm not sure where to find more so I'm trying to search Augusta Tower to find something by throwing Mog at floating treasures I didn't get before. So far I haven't really found anything except for a gate seal and a Casino ticket....

Any advice would be nice! Thank you!!

  15. #65

There are 10 Wild Artefacts in the game, this video will help you find them:

Only 10? Does that mean there are only 10 gates that use Wild Artefacts?

Ps: Thanks!!! I've been stuck for a while now trying to find them. I probably should've used them when told to instead of using them willy nilly whenever I found a gate! XP

  17. #67

From what I can recall, there seemed to be more of those gates than the number of artefacts available. It's been a while since I've played the game, so I'm not 100% sure.

  18. #68

There are 10 gates that can be unlocked with a Wild Artefact. If I recall correctly, it's impossible to prevent yourself from eventually being able to open all gates, although you can certainly wind up in a situation where you must buy the artefact from Serendipity in order to progress.

    t~

  19. #69

Yes, there are only 10 wild artefacts and only 10 gates:

Aaah k. That's logical. And thanks again, the video was a lot of help. I found the Artefact at Oerba 200 AF before I had to get off so I can continue on.

I beat the game now I am going with paradox scope to unlock all the endings, but some gates that open during progress won't allow me to enter. So far the ones I can not enter are Bresha Ruins 300af, Oerba 300af, and Academia 4XXaf. I opened them up through paradox storyline, they are there but I can not enter them. Wtf? I see them, unlocked, in front of me, but when I hit "A" (360) it will not open.

I don't remember if this is the case with the ones you're talking about, but some times/areas are only accessable through the story, so you might have to use the rewind/whatever they call it function on the times/areas that preceeded the times/areas that you're trying to get to. I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help, but it's been a while since I beat FFXIII-2. You could probably find a more comprehensive explination (and actual instructions) on gamefaqs.com. Good luck getting all the paradox endings!

That's weird, and shouldn't happen. Did you lock a gate and try to play through the whole story from it or something? That's the only thing I can think of that might have caused this. Could you give me some more information, or take a picture of your screen on the Historia Crux and upload it? I'll need to know more to see if I can help you.

The only locations you can't access except by story progress are those found in the chapter that starts after you leave Academia 4XX with the trapped Artefact Alyssa gives. You visit the Void Beyond, fight Caius as just Serah (There's a Paradox Ending here), and then go to a false New Bodhum and speak with a fake Lightning (there's a Paradox ending here). I have never tried to rewind time in the Dying World 700AF so I don't know if the story of that location can be done over again from here, but it is first reached after the false New Bodhum section. Noel fights Caius alone (yet another Paradox ending) in this area.

Every other revisitable area should be revisitable just be closing the Gate for that Time/Place.

Those areas that you mentioned don't get unlocked through the storyline. You need to get a Wild Artefact for every area. There are 10 Wild Artefacts that can open the 10 locked areas in the game.

Did you get all the Wild Artefacts?

I did find all of the wild artifacts before beating the game, That's why I can't seem to figure out what the problem is. I had everything unlocked except for the paradox ending locations and after I closed "New Bodhum 3AF" I restarted everything using the paradox scope. Now After re-using the wild artifacts (thankfully you don't have to find them again) Bresha Ruins 300af and the other two do appear to be unlocked but when I go to select them, nothing happens... :'(

I'm also pretty sure I've completed everything necessary in the story up to this point. My greatest concern is Academia 4xx af because maybe I didn't recieve some of the wild artifacts until around this time. I think this because I just completed apart of the story where Hope says something about says this...
    m.youtube.com/watch?v=XjHKDvHNqAM&deskto...
(Start at 13:50) This is what happens right before academia 4xxaf becomes available to me but it will not let me enter. It is there, I can see it but it might as well be a sticker on my screen...

If anyone has any other ideas I would love to hear them. Thx.
