    German Reviewers 4Players gave 83 %.
But they gave Final Fantasy XIII 75 % so you see they are pretty hard.

I think Edge is easily swayed by presentation and popularity.
JC2 is so much fun, I sometimes feel like we don't deserve games like it. lol
No, the lowest score is 60, Gamepro.

Virgin Media have reviewed Just Cause 2 and rated it "Great" - 8/10

    http://videogames.virginmedia.com/ps..._2/review.html

    Closing paragraph:

"So, Just Cause 2 is a gorgeous, fun, rollercoaster of a game. It's far from perfect, but its best qualities shine through, leaving the lacklustre gunplay as more of a mildly unpleasant aftertaste than a meal ruining disaster. It's a game that begs to be messed around with, for you to discover new ways to use the tools at your disposal and to take it all in the light-hearted way the developer intended. Chances are you'll forget why Rico was on Panau in the first place, but his exploits should live long in your memory."

Just Cause 2 – The MMOMFG Review: http://bit.ly/cZCTOG

The conclusion part of the review: Simply put, Just Cause 2 is one of my favorite games of the year so far. It’s certainly the best action game of the year to date, otherwise competing with 2010 blockbuster God of War 3 for overall supremacy. The game isn’t perfect by any means, but the freedom afforded by Panau and the utter scale of destruction possibly trumps the titles shortcomings story or presentation. There will be cut scenes with crap voice acting that impart objectives on you without making much sense, but these are quickly forgotten thanks to the multitude of kick-ass missions you plunge into straight after a short cut scene. Just Cause 2’s fun factor is incendiary, a flame that just won’t go out: whether you’re blowing crap up, appreciating the views, skydiving and grapple hooking your way across the island, or just finding new ways to die spectacularly – none of this gets old. Just Cause 2 is, most definitely, a buy. If not for the reasons I’ve just stated then simply because…well, just ‘cause.

A Fantastic game with so much to do. Lots of attention to detail in beautiful surroundings, GTA has got some competition on its hands. Game would of been give 9.5 if co-op was available. Well done Eidos!

I don't really think it would of reached a 9.5. But, if they fixed the story and sounds it might of came closer.

Yeh, why would my review be worth less than those "official" idiots'? So, here I come!

My review, with all my love, guys :
    9/10
The game is incredibly fun and beautiful, although the main story is kinda short.

The overall amount of secondary missions is nice, but each one of them are short too.
The hook is absolutely awesome, even with the dissappointing detail of breaking when trying to tie moving vehicles, but slingshooting and dropping people off heights is amazing.
Fighter jets are USELESS. Yes, they lack controls, and I fell bad each time I run across a lame no-VTOL-no-Harrier.
    Everything else is awesome.

There. A 9 from me is a lot, since GTA4 is a 7 and any God of War is a 5. Congrats team !

Edit: As time passes, things get boring or dissappointing and the rating falls to 8 or 7...
    Everything should be a sandbox

PC Zone magazine (UK) - score 84. I've bought this mag and read the whole review, it is very positive with only minor complaints about voice acting, no in-vehicle radio and a few issues with combat.

    come on, lack of brains?
    are you retarded or something.

but i have to agree with this one

the game also features the outmoded "monster closet," meaning enemies will literally appear out of thin air. Worse, the game doesn't try very hard to disguise this fact, which makes it all the more glaring.
it is stupid how the enemies spawn AND KEEP SPAWNING, set a cap. dangit

Gameplay, performance and quality review here:

    http://www.hardocp.com/article/2010/...mage_quality/1

From the article conclusion this sums it pretty well why I won't be buying this game, even though I loved the demo:

"When NVIDIA tells us that it will "Do no harm!" when it comes to gaming, that is really a bold faced lie, and we knew it when it was told to us. It will do no harm to PC gaming when it fits its agenda. NVIDIA is going to continue to glom onto its proprietary technologies so that it gains a marketing edge, which it very much does though its TWIMTBP program. And we have to assume that marketing edge is worth all the bad press it does generate. To say NVIDIA does not harm to PC gaming is a delusional at best. You AMD users just got shafted on these cool effects that could have been easily developed for all PC gamers instead of just those that purchase from one company."

    Another Good Review

Gaming site Pads & Panels posted a review of Just Cause 2 today, giving it 4 out of 5 Stars.

    http://www.padsandpanels.com/?p=8930

For anyone checking it out, the site also seems to be doing a contest for a free copy of Fat Princess: Fistful of Cake this week, ending tomorrow. So might as well comment and get a chance at a free game while you're there.

    Hi Folks

The game Just Cause 2 has a "bug" in the concept.
You have a gigantic map, a complete country but nobody of the inhabitants have missions for you? I mean outside of the group-missions and the storyline. The only option to make money are racings. There is no one in any of the many towns, have a transport, a headhunt, a "bring me a car" mission. This is the same problem of many open-world games (z.B. Far Cry 2, Two Worlds, Oblivion, Stalker CoP...). You have only a limited number of missions, different to Just Cause 1.

Why? Forgotten art? Please Patch it!

    need review for my son

Hey everyone, I'm not actually a Just Cause player, but wanted to get opinions for my son. He is seven and wants me to buy him the game and says he can just do the stunts without playing the storyline with all the shooting. I've watched some of the video posts and it does look really cool. Is what he says true? Can he just do the stunts?

    Thanks!
