PC USERS - Read This Thread BEFORE Posting Support!

So there seems to be a rise in threads from PC users having problems with one thing or another. I have created this thread as a sort of one-stop directory of help. If you're new to Mini Ninjas and the forums then hey. This area is for Technical Support. If you need game play support or like to share your thoughts on Mini Ninjas, you need to post your thread here.

It's vital that you read all the information posted here before posting a support thread as its quite likely that your problem is a simple one that can be fixed by the solutions listed here. Enjoy reading.

    1) Downloading/Buying Mini Ninjas:

If you have brought Mini Ninjas from a store and realised that the disc is scratched, the only option is to return it and ask for a refund (please view the store policies for more information). If you have downloaded the game from an online download store like Steam then it is important that you contact their appropriate support person(s) before posting a thread here.

This means less threads and a quicker, easier solution for you. Below is a list of contact option for the top online download stores:

Steam Support Some gamers have experienced problems with the Steam version so please contact Steam support if you have issues with that version before posting a thread here.
    Direct2Drive Support
    Games Planet Support

Can't find your online download provider? Just post the name of them and I'll get back to you .

    2) System Requirements:

System Requirements are very important when buying a PC game. Below is a simple tool that checks how capable your PC is of running Mini Ninjas. If it is not capable of running it at a good level its recommended you upgrade your PC or purchase the game on a different platform.

For more details these are the official minimum and recommended system requirements. Minimum requirements mean you should be able to get the game running however it's not guaranteed you will be able to play it at a good level so it's best to aim for the recommended requirements.

    Minimum specifications

CPU: Intel Pentium 4 / AMD Athlon 3.2GHz

It is still possible to run Mini Ninjas on Windows 7 but if you experience glitches as a result there won't be any official help as the game was not designed with Windows 7 in mind.

    Windows 8 issues

    Game wont launch at all!

I am using windows 8, I have tried all of the suggestions listing in the forums to make the game work, but it's still a no go. My game wont even launch! I bought it at a store (future shop) and have a physical disk. I am running it on my Sony Viao laptop with Intel core i7, windows 8, tried compatibility modes, given the game admin rights, updated my os, updated drives, etc. Nothing works

So, I'm having extreme problems with screen flashes. Similar to what I originally experienced with Star Wars when it came out, and I'm using a gaming laptop. Apparently, there's constant screen flickers. Steam's website is directing us to your website for tech support, and you're directing us to Steam. Whom should I talk to at this point, because your game is 75% off on Steam right now, and there is NO mention that this is not compatible with Windows 7+ . If it was, many people would probably not be buying it.
